If you participated in The New York Times’ simultaneous photo shoot today we’d like to invite you to join our 4-year-old global simultaneous photo project called Worldwide Moment. Since 2007 we have organized an annual simultaneous photo shoot to allow participants to celebrate peace, learn about new cultures, and create photographic art. Our event last year received 1,300 photos from 70 countries. We had support from people such as Yoko Ono, families separated by war, and even an EchoStar satellite orbiting Earth.
We have a long-standing community of photographers for Worldwide Moment and plan to continue growing our community leading up to our fourth annual event on October 10, 2010 at 10:10AM GMT. You can pledge to participate by providing your email here on our website.
We hope you enjoyed the event today, we hope you’ll enjoy becoming a member of our community, and we hope you’ll take a photograph for Worldwide Moment at 10.10.10@10:10GMT.
Thanks, Brett Brownell
