A few hours from now Worldwide Moment will be teaming up with National Arts Council member Mako Fujimura and his organization the International Arts Movement for a mini-Moment of photography, art, and international community. Join us! All you have to do is take a photo of your world at the moment of Friday March 5 at 2:10pm Eastern time (http://bit.ly/wwm-encounter), then email your photo to worldwidemoment (at) gmail.com. The photos will be presented tomorrow afternoon in New York City as part of Mr. Fujimura’s annual arts conference called Encounter 10, and will also be posted on our Flickr site.
Our co-producer Jacob Marshall and I were personally invited by Mr. Fujimura to attend Encounter 10 this weekend. We’re meeting artists from around the world, sharing ideas, and gathering support for Worldwide Moment.
This mini-Moment event is first of many in 2010. We will be teaming up with international organizations in order to promote 10.10.10@10:10AM GMT and Worldwide Moment’s goal of creating peace and community through art. If you want to host a mini-Moment please contact us!
We apologize for the short notice, but hope you’ll be able to join us shortly!
Peace.
