There are a few people I’d like to mention. Each follower on Twitter, friend on Facebook, participant from last year, email subscriber, and supporter is immensely valuable to us. And I’d like to take a moment to single out a few people who, without them, Worldwide Moment would be nothing more than a pipe dream and still just a thought:

1) Parker is a local friend from Virginia who volunteered to create and maintain our first website for more than a year. We now have a new website design thanks to Dan Spencer and Flyguy Designs, but without Parker WWM 08 would never have happened, and WWM 09 would have no reason to either.

2) Bria Cole (breeshee@gmail.com) is a Toronto-based graphic designer and film producer who volunteered her services to create the Worldwide Moment logo. We went through a few drafts, but from the beginning she was patient and excited, and it wore off on me.

3) Brittany Kerbo is a college student from Tennessee who read an old blog I used to keep and wrote me an email one day to say, “I started a Facebook group for Worldwide Moment. Hope you don’t mind…”. The group now has over 3,400 members. I don’t mind at all ; ) .
